Atlanta Postal Credit Union Rate Update, Share Certificate Yields as High as 5.75%

Atlanta Postal Credit Union continues to offer yields as high as 5.75% apy on their share certificates. Yields range from 5.70% apy for a 12 month share certificate to 5.75% apy for a 60 month share certificate. These yields are good for both regular and IRA share certificates. Regular share certificates require a minimum deposit of $500. IRA share certificates require a $2,000 minimum deposit.

5.50% California Credit Union 11 Month Expert Earner Share Certificate Special Update, Other Good Rates Available

California Credit Union is still offering their 11 month Expert Earner certificate on their website. I originally posted on this certificate back in February. This certificate earns 5.50% apy and has a minimum deposit requirement of $10,000. This special must be funded with money new to the credit union and may be opened as a regular or an IRA share certificate.

This credit union is also offering some decent rates on their jumbo share certificates. They are offering 5.45% apy and 5.50% apy on their 18 and 24 month jumbo share certificates respectively. The minimum deposit requirement for these certificates is $100,000.

Among other routes to joining California Credit Union, membership is extended to those who are members of a Parent Teacher Association or Parent Teacher Student Association.

Orange County Teachers Federal Credit Union Jumbo IRA Share Certificates, Yields up to 5.75%

5.75% Coreplus Federal Credit Union 36 Month Variable Share Certificate Rate Update

CorePlus Federal Credit Union continues to offer a 36 month variable rate certificate with a yield of 5.75% apy. I originally posted on this certificate last August. The rate for this certificate is determined by the Prime Rate minus 2.50% as reported in the Eastern Edition of the Wall Street Journal five days prior to the end of each month. Rates are subject to change on the first of every month. The rate on this account will not drop below 3% or rise above 8%.

Field of membership for CorePlus Credit Union includes those "who live, work, worship, or attend school in and businesses and other legal entities located in New London County or Windham County, Connecticut" as well as those "who reside in the Town of Hebron, Connecticut, employees of the Town of Bolton, Connecticut".

9.00% Elevations Credit Union 9 Month Share Certificate Special Update ($2,000 Max)

Elevations Credit Union continues to offer 9.00% apy on a 9 month share certificate special. I last posted on this certificate back in February. This special is available to new members at the time they open a new savings and checking account or for current members who open a dividend bearing checking account with the credit union. New members must deposit $25 into their savings account. This certificate has a minimum deposit requirement of $1,000 with a maximum deposit limit of $2,000. Field of membership in Suncoast Federal Credit Union is extended to those with a certain specified relationship to any of the following Florida counties: Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lee, Levy, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, or Sumter. Wescom Credit Union is offering a 10% apy 7 month share certificate grand opening special. This special has a minimum deposit requirement of $500 and a maximum funding amount of $1,000.
