State Department Federal Credit Union is offering 6.24% apy on a 5 year IRA certificate for those members who are in their Capital Club. To join the Capital Club, you must open a State Department FCU checking account and have your paycheck or annuity directly deposited. If direct deposit isn't available to you, you can also join the Capital Club by having a minimum of $500 in your regular share savings account. Field of membership is limited and is comprised of a number of select employee groups as well as employees and members of a number of other organizations.
