Why do you clutter of this nice web site with such small 1m dollar deals that very, very, very few would qualify for???
That's a good question. Deals like this that have a low maximum deposit limit don't appeal to everyone. Even then, only a small amount of those who might be interested can qualify when the field of membership is so limited, like you rightly pointed out. However, for savers who qualify and are looking to put away small amounts of money, these deals can be more attractive then putting away a similar amount of money at another financial institution with non-competitive rates. There really aren't too many places on the net where you can find out about credit union deals like this. I realize that the same people who are searching for jumbo rates may not be interested in a deal like this one. Time permiting, I'd love to address this with an expanded credituniondeals.com site sometime in the future where deals are sorted and catergorized more effectively. I hope this answers your question.
