Widely Available 6.00% Share Certificates No Longer Offered, Rates Continue To Trend Lower
Rates continue to trend lower at many credit unions and some widely available high rate share certificates are no longer being offered. Digital Credit Union no longer offers their 6.00% apy 16 month share certificate on their website and the rate on Agriculture Federal Credit Union's 60 month share certificate has dropped from 6.00% apy to 5.50% apy.
There still are some high rate share certificate rates that are still widely available. Nasa Federal Credit Union still offers their 5.80% apy 7 month share certificate(see my post) and Fort Belvoir Credit Union is offering 5.60% apy on a 60 month share certificate(my post).

I have been following them too. I was hoping that they might have bucked the trend like they did in September when their rates went up to 6.17% while others were in decline. Hopefully there's another similar rate surprise from this credit union in the near future.
