The minimum deposit requirement for 6-11 month share certificates is $2,500 while 12-29 month share certificates require a minimum deposit of $500. 5 year share certificates also earn 5.65% apy with a minimum deposit of $500. This rate is good for both regular and IRA share certificates. To qualify for this rate, you must have a combination of other financial products with the credit union. For example, those who have a VisionsPlus Checking Account with a Visa Check Card and a Visions Gold or Platinum Card would qualify for this rate.
