Research Federal Credit Union Share Certificate Specials, Rates up to 6.30%

Research Federal Credit Union is offering 6.30% apy on a 70 month share certificate special. To qualify for this certificate, you must have a Research FCU checking account with direct deposit. This rate applies to both IRA and regular certificates. The minimum deposit for this special is $5,000 with a $30,000 maximum. This offer has been available for a number of months. I originally posted on this deal in September.

The credit union is also offering 5.60% apy on a 17 month share certificate. The minimum and maximum deposit levels for this certificate are $2,500 and $30,000 respectively. This account is available as both a regular or IRA share certificate. There is no direct deposit requirement for this offer.

A third share certificate special is a 170 day share certificate with a rate of 5.45% apy. This certificate can only be funded with new money. There is no direct deposit requirement for this certificate and this account may be opened as a regular or IRA account. The minimum deposit requirement for this certificate is $5,000 and the maximum deposit limit is $50,000.

Field of membership includes employees and retirees of General Motors who are located at the following locations: the Renaissance Center Corporate Headquarters, the Warren Tech Center, and the Milford Proving Grounds. Membership is also extended to employees and retirees of companies that belong to either the Warren, Center Line, Sterling Heights, Huron Valley, or South Lyon Chamber of Commerce as well as immediate family of any of the aforementioned groups.
