8.00% Southern Select Community Credit Union 18 Month Youth Share Certificates
Southern Select Community Credit Union is offering 8.00% apy on the first $1,000 in their 18 month youth share certificates. Those 12 and under can open a "Kids Club Treasure" certificate while those 13 - 18 can open a "Rule Your Money" certificate. The minimum opening deposit requirement for these accounts is $100 and you may add deposits of $25 or higher at any time. Balances over $1,000 earn the rate currently being paid on a 1 year share certificate. See site for additional details.
Field of membership in Southern Select Community Credit Union is open to those who live, work, worship, attend school or are a member of an organization or group within 25 miles of the credit union's Kannapolis, North Carolina office or anywhere inside Rockingham County, North Carolina.

Current APY is 5.00%. Term is 18-months... open with as little as $100 and make additions of $25 or more anytime -- to a max balance of $1,000.
