United Maryland Employees Federal Credit Union is offering 6.17% apy on a 12 month share certificate special from August 27th through September 30th. The minimum deposit requirement for this certificate is $5,000 and this special must be funded with money new to the credit union.

Field of membership in United Maryland Employees Federal Credit Union is extended to employees and retirees of the Owings Mills, Maryland location of the Solo Cup Corporation as well as those who report to management of the company in Owings Mills. Membership is also extended to employees and volunteers of the Northwest Hospital Center, employees of the English American Tailoring Corporation, and employees of the Medstar Visiting Nurses Association.
