Dayton Firefighters Federal Credit Union Rate Update

Dayton Firefighters Federal Credit Union is now offering 6.86% apy on 60 month IRA certificates with a minimum deposit of $10,000 and regular certificates with a minimum deposit of $100,000. They are also offering 6.36% apy on 48 month versions of these certificates. Please note that the penality for early withdrawl is "2% of the certificate principal amount for certificates 36 months or longer in maturity". Field of membership includes "active or pensioned employees of the Dayton, Ohio Fire Department". It also includes those who "live, work, worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in Montgomery County, Ohio" as well as immeadiate family of current members.
