New 8% Chartway Federal Credit Union 8 month certificate

Last month we reported on a 8% apy certificate deal from Chartway Federal Credit Union. This month, they are running a new 8 month 8% apy certificate offer with different terms and conditions. New members are eligible for this offer if they are referred by an existing member. Existing members are eligible if they refer a new member and the new member opens either a 8% certificate and a prime shares account or a prime shares account with a checking account that has direct deposit of $500+/month. The minimum deposit for these certificates is $500 with a $8,000 maximum. Limit of three 8% certificates per household. Chartway has a membership that is limited to those who "live, work, worship or go to school in a defined geographic area served by our Virginia, Florida, Rhode Island and Texas branches".
