6.70% NASJRBCU 7 & 14 Month Share Certificates, Other Great Rates Available
NASJRBCU is offering 6.70% apy on both 7 & 14 month share certificates. The minimum deposit for this rate is $25,000. Lesser deposits starting at $2,500 earn 5.90% apy. These certificates must be funded with money new to the credit union.
NASFRBCU is also offering high rates on their 5 year share certificate. Deposits starting at $25,000 earn 6.01% apy, while deposits starting at $50,000 earn 6.17% apy.
Field of membership for this credit union is extended to those who are Naval Air Station JRB Employees, attached Active Duty, Reservists, and Civil Service, as well as Retired Military who live within 80 miles of the credit union. Immediate family members of current members are also eligible for membership.

I called today to try to join (I'm retired military). You must be physically located within 80 miles to initially join, otherwise you're not eligible to be a member.
