Bellco Credit Union is open to all via membership in Consumers United Association - www.cuacolorado.org/corpsponsors.shtml. Looks like some of the other credit unions listed there might have liberal membership eligibility requirements.
Consumer's United Association got me excited until I read this: Membership to Consumers United Association is open to Colorado residents who are interested in financial education and advocacy.
You may be asked to show proof of Colorado residency in the form of a copy of your drivers license, state issued ID card, or voter ID card to join CUA. We do not accept membership from people living outside of the state of Colorado who have businesses in the state.
Thanks for the information on Consumers United Association. This info would make for a good post on credit union's that are open to anyone living in Colorado.

Affinity Plus FCU via the Affinity Plus Foundation -www.affinityplus.org/member/index.html
Matadors Community Credit Union is open to anyone.
Looks like you can add Allegacy to the list.
Mountain America Federal Credit Union or as they call themselves Mountain America Credit Union can be added. If you join the American Consumer Council you are eligible for membership in the credit union.
Southeast Financial Federal Credit Union can be joined if you call member services at 800.521.9653 and make a $5.00 donation to the Autism Society of Middle Tennessee to automatically qualify for Southeast Financial membership.
Another credit union anyone can join is University Federal Credit Union (ufcu.org).
You're eligible if you join the University of Texas Longhorn Foundation for $20.00 or the Wheatsville Co-op for $15.00.
Golden Plains Credit Union. By the way of the Lee Richardson Zoo.
Anyone in Southern California can join Wescom Credit Union. They too should be added. They're the best financial institution that I've ever dealt with.
