Pentagon Federal Credit Union Certificate Rates Down, 6%+ Certificates Still Widely Available
The 6.00% Pentagon Federal Credit Union Share Certificates that I posted on here are no longer being offered. Current rates are 5.41% apy for a 3 year share certificate and 5.42% apy for 4 & 5 year share certificates. Even though these 6.00% certificates are no longer being offered, there are 6%+ cds available at other credit unions that anyone can join. Fort Belvoir Federal Credit Union is currently offering 6.17% apy on 3, 4, & 5 year share certificates. Patelco Credit Union is offering 6.00% apy on Flexible Term Bump certificates with terms between 12 - 23 months. Digital Federal Credit Union is offering 6.00% apy on a 16 month certificate with a minimum deposit of $500. Finally, NASA Federal Credit Union is offering 6.0% apy on a 7 month share certificate special.

I went to Ft. Belvoir's website and looks like they have changed/lowered their rates again Oct. 1 - 15. Here's the link:

Thanks for the update. Their 60 month share certificate now yields 5.90% apy.
